The sun was out and the punters were smiling at Splendour in the Grass 2023. The mud from last year was fading from memory as a stellar day of music unfolded.
Amongst the early highlights of the day was Claire Rosinkranz, who seemingly brought her fans all the way from Southern California, such was the reception. SKEGSS rocked the ampitheatre, with the set being all the more signifcant as it was the final appearance for bass player Toby Cregan with the band.
MAY-A brought her trademark energy to the Mix-Up stage. Ruel put on a performance that was high theatre. His showmanship continues to evolve and impress.
Another favourite on the G W McLennan stage for the day was Cub Sport.
The Ampitheatre finished with a bang, with Ocean Alley, the mind-blowing J Balvin and finally Lizzo bringing the love and the conclusion to a massive day out.
