Life Instyle Melbourne takes over the Royal Exhibition Building this weekend

If you love boutique shopping and you are in Melbourne this weekend, the Life Instyle expo is here to fill your bags with a carefully curated collection of brands from Australia and overseas.

Taking over the Royal Exhibition Building, the show floor offers 355 brands for you to browse and shop, including opportunities to meet the brand owners and creators and see some of their beautiful creations before they hit the general market. If you’re a creator yourself, you can get some guidance from experts in the business Melissa Robbins from thelotco and Heidi Albertiri from The Life Style Edit. There’s even more support for businesses, with:

  • Style StudioFrom kids to lifestyle, the Style Studio is your go-to inspiration to see a live photoshoot in action with products from our very own exhibitors. Hosted by  The Life Style Edit, an expert in content to show you how to bring together the best from our exhibitors and innovative styling to design stunning sets each day and create some amazing images.
  • The Neighbourhood – Future EdenFuture Eden will showcase brands who have a sustainability ethos at the heart of what they do. Products showcased in this area will feature products and brands with materials that are re-used, re-purposed or recycled and limited waste.
  • Retail Therapy Seminar Sessions – Presented by leading experts in their field, Retail Therapy, these sessions will outline the tools necessary to evolve your strategy and take your customer experience to the next level. Key topics include Emerging Trends for 2024, Sales Strategies and Digital Transformation.

150 new exhibitors have been added to the show floor this year. Cathy from Watertiger said about the first day, “There is a real buzz about the event. I have seen a number of my stockists that I haven’t seen for five or six years. It’s exciting to see them back.”

There is a large emphasis on sustainability in this year’s showcase with Monique at Texcoco Collective, winner of the Life Instyle New Breed Scholarship, with her sustainably made in Mexico, cactus leather handbags to Soek Sustainable Sunglasses, showcased in The Future Eden part of Life Instyle, who use 100% sustainable timber and all-natural materials that are renewable and free from harmful or toxic elements to create their super stylish sunglasses.

Axis Toys were showcasing a collection of their most sustainable brands, including Fabelab, fable-inspired children’s products and homewares made from organic cotton and recycled polyester and EcoSplat, which creates recyclable water balloons.

There really is something for everyone at this event with fashion, beauty and grooming, art, items for babies and newborns, books and stationery, food and drink, homewares, and more. It’s a packed event that truly offers something for everyone.
