PAX AUS confirm first round of who’s coming in 2023

PAX Aus is getting ready to celebrate ten years of events in Australia. Located in Melbourne, the three-day gaming event sees gamers swarm from all over the country to discover the best new games coming soon, discover new ones at PAX Rising with a slew of indie games with some star-studded local talent.

Nintendo returns to PAX AUS, with the Splatoon 3 AU/NZ Championship 2023 and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe AU/NZ Championship 2023 culminating in the live finals in PAX Arena. Teams can learn more about qualifying online for this epic showdown at Nintendo Australia’s website.

Also returning this year, Bethesda joins PAX AUS’ 10th anniversary. Stay tuned over at PAX AUS socials in the coming weeks for more information about the awesome experience they will be bringing to the PAX community.

First-timers to PAX this year include NetEase Games, who have created titles across a variety of genres and platforms. Ukiyo Studios will be bringing various international indie games to PAX AUS. PikPok Games from Aotearoa, New Zealand, will be delivering an exclusive demo of Into the Dead: Our Darkest Days. 

PAX offers so much more, with panels from experts in their fields covering game design, gender and education in gaming, customer controller workshops and many many more that inform and entertain. There is also a cosplay championship running all weekend with some of the country’s best all coming in to surprise and delight every fandom.
