Explore the Australian Museum after dark with Nights at the Museum

Museum-goers will finally be able to live out their Larry Daley dreams, with the Australian Museum keeping the doors open a little later every Thursday throughout May and June.

Not only will you be able to explore the AM’s current exhibitions after dark, but Nights at the Museum will also be offering a stacked roster of bonus events, as well as live music, late night shopping at the gift store, and a pop-up bar. Museum restaurant No. 1 William will also be opening later as part of the program, the perfect spot to soak up a Sydney sunset.

Tomorrow night’s event, Ngalu Warrawi Marri (We Stand Strong), is already booked out, but there’s still a wealth of exciting things to come, including collaborations with Vivid Ideas, late night dino-trivia as part of Jurassic World by Brickman, and the AM’s annual Talbot Oration.

Nights at the Museum will run every Thursday night, from 5pm to 9pm, until the end of June.

For an up-to-date look at what’s to come, head over to the Nights at the Museum event page HERE. Museum entry is free, but there may be a charge to access to some exhibitions, and free events may need to be booked ahead of time, so gather your friends and pick a date!
